In NoiseHub, we only collect your Apple Music listening data. We plan on using this data to enhance your experience as we continue adding functionality to the app. In future updates, we intend to improve your entire music listening experience, beyond just sharing graphics. We're creating features based on making music more social, a new way to interact with your music library, and more accurate music discovery. In order to do this, we may need to give access to third party services. We neither rent nor sell data about you without your consent unless anonymized.
Upon opening NoiseHub, we ask you to provide us with an email, so we have a way to identify you in case you would like to have your data deleted (as per GDPR regulations). If you would like to have your data erased, you will have to provide the email you inputted, and send us an email at mailto:email@example.com. We should get back to you within 48 hours.
Additionally, we don’t collect your Apple ID username or password. Anytime a third party application has access to the Apple Music API for the first time (or after your device has been turned off or restarted), Apple needs to verify that you’re still an Apple Music subscriber. It then prompts you to put in your account information, so that we can get the correct information from the server.
